Sea-R underwent a major repower and systems overhaul, replacing the old Caterpillar engines with new John Deere 4045SFM85 engines. This upgrade more than doubled her top speed—from 12 to 22 knots. The project, managed by D’Aprix Marine Services, included coordination of multiple trades, a complete vessel re-wire, installation of a new battery system, and in-house anti-fouling. All works were carried out at the Gold Coast City Marina, with ongoing after-sales support and maintenance provided to ensure long-term performance and reliability.
