Lai Mantana

The Bowman 49 Lai Mantana underwent a full repower and systems refit at the D’Aprix Marine workshop facility, replacing the original Perkins engine with a modern Yanmar 4JH80 Common Rail engine. The upgrade included new Polyflex flexible couplings, Tides dripless shaft seals, a Racor turbine water/fuel separator, custom engine feet, and engine bed modifications. A new Gori propeller and running gear were installed, along with a custom dash and replacement of overboard valves. This comprehensive overhaul has delivered a cleaner, quieter, and more reliable performance—ensuring Lai Mantana is ready for another 50 years of safe and enjoyable cruising.
