The Scimitar Cat underwent a full repower and dash refit, transforming both its performance and user experience. D’Aprix Marine Services replaced the original twin petrol Volvo engines with two brand-new Yanmar 4LV diesel engines, significantly enhancing power and efficiency. To complement the engine upgrade, a state-of-the-art dash was custom-fitted, integrating the latest technology from Yanmar and Simrad. Originally reaching a top speed of just 15 knots, the vessel now effortlessly achieves 27 knots, delivering a smoother, quieter, and cleaner ride for its owners.
